Alfredo Rivela, Founder/CEO of Nomaders

Name: Alfredo Rivela
Current Startup: Nomaders

Lessons Learned:

  • You have to be persistent. Pursuing your dreams may take a long time.
  • Pair up with someone with experience that compliments your own.

Staying Motivated: I really believe we can do something big and make a difference in how people understand each other. When you travel you learn a lot about different cultures and how to navigate different worlds. One of the most important things to me is creating a better world for the future, something I think can be done by encouraging more traveling with Nomanders.

Mentors: I am currently looking for local mentors and advisors. I just moved with my family from Spain and have a years of startup experience abroad, but I need advice to help with the transition process.

  1. Great Thought. “Pair up with someone with experience that compliments your own.” There are a lot of things to think about when you start working full-time with someone, this is at the top of the list.
