internmatchInternMatch, an online platform that connects students with amazing companies and helps companies hire amazing students, is hiring a Rails Developer in San Francisco, CA.

Role Description: InternMatch is looking for web application developers with experience in Ruby on Rails. The InternMatch suite of services are primarily written in Ruby on Rails. The main technologies we use are Rails 3 and 4, Ruby 1.9.3 and 2.0, jQuery, Solr4, MySQL, and MongoDB. They run these services on top of Ubuntu servers which are scripted using Chef. An ideal candidate would be familiar with the administration and/or use of the majority of these services.

Their primary Ruby on Rails application is large but well tested. They use RSpec and Cucumber for unit testing and browser testing. Experience with testing in Rails is a must-have. Experience working on one or more Rails projects with lots of code (>10k LOC) while performing large upgrades (e.g.: Ruby or Rails version changes) or architectural changes (monolithic to SOA transition) on those projects is a big plus.
