Founders Network Congratulates our Winners

The inaugural #fnDemo finished last week, and we’re pleased to let you know that the first-ever champ is Zeb Dropkin, founder of RentHackr, and the Judges’ Pick was Ioannis Verdelis, founder of Fleksy. In case you missed it, fnDemo is a virtual tech startup pitch competition that featured more than 30 Founders Network member startups.  Participating founders virtually pitched their startups to investors, media and fans, who voted for the winners by sharing tweets and retweets for their favorite startups.

“We are honored by the opportunity to participate in the friendly fnDemo competition and humbled by the great showing of support from our fans” said Dropkin, whose pitch generated the most social shares via the viral marketing platform Fandrop.

“I am very glad we ‘competed’ with such an awesome group of companies – and that we are all part of the same network!” said Ioannis Verdelis of Fleksy, who earned the most votes from a judging panel representing leading angel and venture capital investors.

This is our first contest of any kind, and we are looking forward to hosting many more in the future. This was a good start, and we are excited that so many people participated – and voted!
